Most everyone has heard of the SS Titanic, an enormous, luxurious transport that set sail in April of 1912 from south Hampton, England. The send off was thinking to be unsinkable, or at least they thought. On April 15, 1912, a few short days after difference port, the American bound ship sank to the bottom of the Atlantic oceanic. over fifteen hundred people were lost at sea in freezing waters. Since then, this sad story has lived on, and still leaves some people expecting answers, and craving for the survivors personal stories. This again tragic story, inspired one of the biggest grossing films of all time; Titanic. This film, would prove to be a challenge from almost all aspects. Writer and director, pile Cameron, would have to go under certain scrutiny, for his definite chilliness directing style. All in which paid off for its 14 Oscar awards. No other film in archives had ever won that many.
The film Titanic, which James Cameron wrote and directed, is an adventure, history and fantasy film, with fiction and non fiction elements. In 1995 Cameron began turnout of the film. The film production team tried to make the film as documented as possible. James Cameron, hired two Titanic historians, gain Lynch and Ken Marschall to help with film.
These two men helped along side Cameron, assuring the authenticity of the film. The reconstruction of the Titanic was do in Baja California. Although a full scale Titanic was not made, computer effects, and models were made to create many scenes.
