The Renaissance was an era of history that began around the year 1500, the term Renaissance is a French term translated to English meaning rebirth. The Renaissance was a revolutionary era in world history receivable to the sudden rise of interest in art and revolutionary artistic proficiencys, the parvenue interest and method of dissemination of literature, the new ideals that became known in purchase decree, and the life of the Leonardo Da Vinci the maestro Renaissance Man. Firstly, the Renaissance was a new era in world history as a result of new artistic interests and newly developed techniques. When the Renaissance began sculpting, painting, and computer architecture started to prosper and rise in popularity combining aspects of the ancient and medieval views on art and expressing realism. A new and revolutionary artistic technique to rise during the Renaissance was linear perspective. The realism that emerged in Renaissance painting went beyond mere fidelity to ancient costumes, architecture and statuesque posture. It also extended the portrayal of the three-dimensional space. 1 Furthermore the new interest in literature and distribution method demonstrates how the Renaissance was a new era in world history.



During the medieval period books had always been rare, expensive and greatly valued due to the fact that they were handmade and could not be widely distributed but at the beginning of the Renaissance the craft of the movable type by Johann Gutenburg in Mainze, in the 1440s spate off a revolution. Books went from rare to common, from expensive to often cheap.2 The ability of print started the rise and interest in piece of writing in vernacular languages such as English, French, Spanish, German, Czech and many others.
