Florence Nightingale said I think ones feelings waste themselves in spoken communication; they ought all to be distilled into actions which bring results. When I read this It reaffirms my entrust to charm in a field which devotes its time to portion others. I very much believe actions speak louder than speech communication and for as long as I can look on I gull always wanted to be a nurse. I believe this stems from my own experiences of being in and approximately hospital as a child. Growing up with a severely disabled child suffering from Retts Syndrome I have seen nurses and doctors able to change a f properlyening hospital adit into an experience of hope and comfort. Her health demands are extremely mellowed and I would love to devote my time helping others as they have helped my sister.

At school I specialised in medical subjects including GCSE youngster Development, GNVQ Health & Social Care, AS aim Health and Social Care and a First forethought course. Within these subjects I have focussed my learning on areas which I believe are prominent today in children such as eating disorders. It has prepared me well for what I will most likely have to deal with in my future career. Having completed a Diploma in Child Care of which I gained Distinction and a Level 3 Child Care Award I feel I am ideally suited to further my abilities given the right training.



This allied with the continual care I provide for my sister which includes not only support but administering class A drugs, dealing with seizures, changing dressings and regularly changing her ACE stomate I have been given a lot of pragmatical experience in real-time situations, the ideal place to chuck my skills to use.

To further my understanding of healthcare I arranged work experience as a carer at a local anesthetic special needs school nursery for four months in 2008, an incredible experience where I watched young children develop and better their skills daily.
