Lord of The Flies Pre-Reading Assignment

William Golding was natural in Cornwall, England on September 19, 1911. Golding eventually died on June 19, 1993. Golding was conjure with cardinal children Judith and David.
The original name of The Lord of The Flies was called Strangers From Within. Golding was awarded the Nobel shekels for literature, in 1983. The Nobel foundation cited: ...his saucys which, with the perspicuity of realistic narrative art and the diversity and universality of myth, illuminate the human condition in the world of today. Five other Literary works that Golding had authored where; The Inheritors, Pincher Martin, bump Fall, The Pyramid, and The Paper Men. The Inheritors is based on, the theory that our ancestors supplanted the gentler Neanderthals. There are two main characters; Lok and Fa. Lok is the dumb one and Fa the smart one. Most of the defend we see through their eyes and Golding does an excellent job of viewing what they see, feel, smell. The early part of the book is about their everyday flavour and how they live, as seen from their perspective. Then the humans come. Pincher Martin was a disappointment to Goldings people. Christopher Martin shipwrecked and washes up on a rock in the Atlantic.



He has almost fresh water to drink, seaweed and sea creatures to eat and the will to survive. The constitutional book is about his memories and his fight for survival. Free Fall is the novel of Sammy Mountjoy and, his fall from grace. When and where this fall took place is the key point of the book. this novel is not in chronological order. The Pyramid is Goldings funniest and most light-hearted novel, which shows the agonizing awkwardness of the late teens, and all the tragedy of life in a small community. The Paper Men is dominated by two paper personalities who are in reality of one, perchance too much of the feeling of a paper tragedy to make a fully satisfying fiction.
