Into the Wild

Into the Wild, the Film

I think the director, Sean Penn, did a good job get Chris McCandless feelings out there and really allowing the viewer to connect with him. Penn kept the aim closely related to the book, and thats what I love nearly this picture. He did change a few things about the story simply I believe that was just so that he could grab the audiences attention and shuffle them oft interested in what was happening to Chris. For example, Penn showed Chris getting do the dishes up by the officer when he got pulled off the train, but in the book that doesnt happen. I think this was changed to agree excitement to the scene and make the viewer more interested. A pass around of times directors completely change movies, and dont make them anything like the book, but Penn didnt do this. I think that makes the viewers that have read the book more interested because it doesnt feel like youre observation a completely different story.
There is a lot of tension in the film, as well as the book. Chris McCandless faces a lot of problems with other things. One of the main dramatic tensions of the film was Chris verse himself. He had a lot of problems that he ask to overcome on his own.

I think that his parents were one of the main reasons Chris decided to go on his adventure. In the film Penn manipulates you into feeling bad for Chris. He shows the issues with his parents, and that pulls you in. I dont believe the book does this as much as the movie. By reading the book I didnt think Chris parents had much to do with his leaving, and that he was just overreacting and nerve-wracking to blame his problems on them. But after seeing the movie it pulled me in a lot...If you want to get a full-of-the-moon essay, order it on our website: Orderessay
