dish up: So in this chapter Zoey and Stevie Rae are having an argument where she wants to save Stevie and gain her world back while she is still reluctant of it. Stevie Rae is rebutting all of Zoeys arguments because its very predictable and she knows what Zoey wants to do. Though Stevie decides to come to be helped, she says itll be futile anyway.

Function: This is where the writing and scene finally look as a normal and ordinary present from two high-school, trounce friends. Zoey is taken surprise by the gift because this was supposed to be given to her on her birthday, but Stevie Rae but instead it was inexplicable in her drawer to be a surprise. She only shew it after looking for clothes to give to Stevie Rae hiding out in Aphrodites house and had so much desire for Stevie Rae to regain her humanity back.

Function: It was almost a type of comical humor to me in this paragraph. Like how rhetorical questions are almost mean, it was funny to me in this sense. It was also tense in the before and after paragraphs so it was like a type of tension release and knickknack as well. Though all of them argue afterwards again, I dont think it was appropriate but Aphrodite is a hateful-hag in the story.
