PROGRESSIVE School believes that IT in the twenty-first vitamin C has the power to make a prodigious contribution to pedagogics and learning across all subjects and ages.

This policy sets out the aims and strategies for implementing and under give outed IT at our school.

Our aim is to become an e-confident school where IT is integrated effectively in the planning, teaching, learning and assessment of all areas of the Curriculum. Our goal is to generate pupils who are independent, confident and responsible users of IT in order to prepare them for keep in an increasingly IT rich world. We aim to further win the potential IT has upon teaching and learning, thus making a significant impact on both our pupils and staff.

To this end we undertake to:-
curb that all children receive a minimum entitlement of COMPUTER cause regardless of gender or ability.




enable all children to revere using IT purposefully
encourage children to use IT independently
boost childrens awareness of IT in the wider world
build on and develop existing knowledge through skills taught in each stratum group to maintain continuity and progression
deploy new equipment to pupils first
witness that our networks, intranet and mail are reliable
commit to the development of IT skills in teachers and administrators
fit the use of data, information and statistics derived from pupil records for improvement
provide a computer in every class for teaching and administrative purposes
remotely allow for teachers to access and use pupil information held centrally
continue to purchase and deploy data projectors and smartboards
