Sally Sark

I had originally planned to pull through my paper on Mikmaq traditions such as pow wows, songs, and dances. But, then my grandmother had asked me to join her for womens day celebration. She spoke around her great grandmother, epigram Sark. Her life changed my mind and I distinct to write nearly her. Today we always hear about how we need to absorb as much history that we provide from our elders. And so that is what I cast done. Not only to write for my final paper, but to have that information written on paper. As my children get older, I can always hold off back on this paper and reflect on chap Sarks life so they have an idea on what strength we have as native women. So this paper is basically a biography of my great, great, great grandmother go Sark. I will discuss where she came from, where she had traveled to, and what sort of take form she did around her home and community. She was a natural born loss leader in my eyes, and a tough woman, even in her time. I believe that her life demonstrates that Mikmaq women were natural born leaders and the original care givers of the community. I will also moderate some of the Mikmaq history which I had learned from fetching this class. Such as what took place during the years of Sallys life. Sally Sark was born on December 24, 1859.
